PLEASE READ: We are a ‘walk-in’ place, and always have been. We usually have lots of capacity and also have saloon areas to have a drink and wait for a table at very busy, peak times. Groups of 6 or more can book using our groups booking option, but if you are a smaller table, just mosey on in and enjoy!

A. Like many operators we don’t take reservations for smaller tables. The nature of our business, speed of service and the style of product generally ensures tables are turned around and there is next to no delay in seating customers. We appreciate that at peak times new customers may have a small wait, if this happens we invite you to sit back and relax in the bar area until your table is ready.
If we take reservations for specific times, we must hold tables for up to one hour prior which inevitably limits the amount of customers we can accommodate. In addition we eliminate the problem of no shows which is not only detrimental to Monterey Jack’s, but also to our customers as it causes less availability and higher costs.
In addition, after unlocking from Covid-19 – we did try to take bookings, but due to the exceptional amount who changed times, days or did not show up – we were left with half empty restaurants, huge admin bills for the work needed to amend and cancel as well as thousands of refunds. This of course is not viable, so we have now reverted to our old, proven system to ensure those who want to dine with us can, by simply coming along!
A. As long as you cancel with at least 48 hours notice, a refund will be issued. You MUST cancel and request a refund by completing a ‘Refund Request’ stating that you are cancelling with 48 hours notice.
